UGANDA, Soroti | True Muloodi News | In Soroti City East Division, residents have submitted a petition to their Teso leaders, urging an investigation into the alleged encroachment on land specified for Moruapesur Principal Faculty.
In accordance to Mr Moses Echuru, the chairperson of the Mother and father’ and Instructors’ Affiliation (PTA) of Moruapesur Main School, the school was recognized in 1988 with land donated by the late Cuthbert Obwangor, a previous Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.

Mr Echuru highlighted that the contested schoolland is surrounded by four roads, namely Eretu, Prof Opolot, Omaria, and Erukana Highway.
Allegations advise that 27 IDPs from close by communities, specially from Owalei, Opiro, and Acetgwen villages, are declaring ownership of the land.
Mr. Echuru also accused city authorities of facilitating the subdivision of the japanese section of the college land for the advantage of the accused individuals.
